Igel-Hilfe Schweiz offers free hedgehog courses for veterinary practice assistants throughout Switzerland. These courses are specially tailored to veterinary practice assistants who want to familiarize themselves with the specifics of hedgehog care and acquire professional knowledge about the medical care and nursing of hedgehogs. Hedgehogs require special attention and expert care in veterinary practices, which is different from other wild animals – this is exactly where our hedgehog courses for veterinary practice assistants come in.

In our courses you will learn everything about the species-appropriate care and treatment of hedgehogs. We cover important topics such as correct feeding, stress management during treatment and recognizing typical diseases in hedgehogs. Our hedgehog courses are offered both at our hedgehog station and directly at your veterinary practice – we are active throughout Switzerland and will adapt to your location and schedule.
