It squints into the sun, limps and rolls over: The little hedgehog has hurt itself and can’t find its way home. Now it needs your help and our care. You don’t have to be a vet or take in a hedgehog to save it. It will help us enormously if you support us with a few francs.
THANK YOU! Also from the hedgehog.

Igelhilfe Schweiz is an organization that maintains its own hedgehog station in Niedergösgen and is committed to saving hedgehogs and biodiversity throughout Switzerland, which is vital for a varied diet for hedgehogs and enormously important for the entire wildlife world.
Have we forgotten our little prickly friends? There are fewer and fewer institutions that can afford to care for the little charges and have the time to do so. Many have had to close and can no longer look after injured, sick or motherless hedgehog children. We would like to give them back their human care. With food, shelter and by creating an awareness for the animal-friendly treatment of the little charges.
Our hedgehog station meets the latest animal welfare standards
A laboratory for examinations and a feel-good climate with a cave feeling thanks to floor and wall heating: the temporary home has become even more comfortable for our hedgehogs and hedgehog kids. We can also handle initial care better and decide whether the new arrivals can stay with us or need a vet. To do this, we have built an online tool with the company Exolynk free of charge, which the vet and our hedgehog station can access directly from anywhere.

These small, prickly creatures often get into trouble. Hedgehogs are run over, do not find enough food or are injured during gardening work. They are cared for and nursed back to health at the hedgehog station run by the Swiss Hedgehog Rescue Association in Niedergösgen.
