These small, prickly creatures often get into trouble. Hedgehogs are run over, do not find enough food or are injured during gardening work. They are cared for and nursed back to health at the hedgehog station run by the Swiss Hedgehog Rescue Association in Niedergösgen.
This fall, we dealt with the topic of hedgehogs. In this context, we took a trip to the hedgehog station in Niedergösgen. There we were able to take a look at the prickly creatures. We were also allowed to look at enlarged pictures of the tiny animals that hedgehogs can carry with them, e.g. fleas and mites.
